AN ATTACKER has been handed a restraining order after assaulting another person in a Herefordshire market town.
John Wall entered a guilty plea to one count of assault by beating when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester in June after entering a not guilty plea to the charge at an earlier hearing.

The court heard from prosecutor Eleanor Peart that the 44-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Chris Read, had assaulted another person by beating in an incident in Leominster on April 6.
Wall, of Etnam Street, Leominster, was handed a 12-month community order, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when coming to a decision on the penalty.
He was also handed a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting the victim directly or indirectly or going to their address, and must pay prosecution costs of £135.
