A HEREFORDSHIRE driver has been fined by magistrates after going the wrong way in a Hereford city centre street.
Jack Griffith was proven guilty of one count of failing to comply with an endorsable traffic sign by magistrates in Worcester in June.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 19-year-old had been behind the wheel of a Volkswagen in Hereford city centre on November 27.

But, magistrates were told, he failed to comply with the indication given by a no entry sign in Union Walk, near they city's County Hospital and Country Bus Station, on that date.
Griffith, of Cherrybrook Close, Hope-under-Dinmore, was fined £220 and received three penalty points on his driving licence for the offence.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and an £88 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
