MORE Herefordshire speeders have been fined by magistrates after they were caught breaking the limit.
James Devine entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard that the 51-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a Volkswagen in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Pencraig on December 4.
Devine, of Old Bath Road, Cheltenham, was fined £1,000 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £400 victim surcharge.

Carl Christopher Horrocks entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard that the 56-year-old Mazda driver had been caught speeding in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Pencraig on December 7.
Horrocks, of Duke Street, Blackpool, was fined £172 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £68 victim surcharge.
Neil George Cummings entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard that the 49-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a BMW in a 70 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Ganarew on December 7.
Cummings, of Sunningdale, Caerphilly, was fined £538 and received four penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £215 victim surcharge.
