A NEW charity shop that will replace the former Laura Ashley store in Hereford will be opened next week.
Midlands Air Ambulance will be welcoming shoppers to the Commercial Street branch from next Thursday (July 13).
The premises had been closed since 2020 after fashion firm Laura Ashley went into administration.
As well as stocking pre-loved goods, the shop will also feature a community hub, which will be a free resource for local people, groups and businesses.

Anil Gupta, head of retail for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “While we undertake hundreds of vitally important missions in Herefordshire each year, this is the first time we have opened a charity shop in the county.
"This will be our eighth charity shop to open across the six counties we cover and will give local people the chance to purchase pre-loved items at very reasonable prices.
"Most importantly, it will help us raise funds to support our lifesaving missions via air ambulance helicopter and critical care car in the area.
“We will be welcoming shoppers from Thursday 13th July and are also looking for volunteers to help in the shop, so if you are interested, please do get in touch about our exciting opportunities.”
