FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Hereford supermarket last night (Tuesday).
One crew was sent to Morrisons on Station Approach at just after 6.05pm, however could find no sign of fire after checking with a thermal image camera.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "It turned out it was a false alarm caused by a faulty detector head and advice was given to staff.
“The crew left the scene at 7.09pm.”
