A blocked footpath across a field between a Herefordshire caravan park and a nearby village has been reinstated following local pressure.
The official public right of way over the field between Lucksall Park at Fiddler’s Green and nearby Fownhope had disappeared this season under a potato crop.
Tom Atkins said he and other park residents had raised the issue with both parish and county councils, as the only other route between the two is the narrow, unpavemented main road.

But according to Fownhope Parish Council clerk Helen Tinson, following a call this week between Herefordshire Council’s footpaths officer and the landowner, whose name she declined to give, the path has been reinstated by the landowner’s contractor.
Herefordshire Council has been approached to confirm this.
