A THIEF stole almost £2,000 worth of perfume from Hereford's Boots shop, a court has heard.
Brendan Brain entered a guilty plea to one count of theft from a shop to magistrates in Basingstoke in July.
The court heard from prosecutor Kate Prince that the 36-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Hita Mashru, had stolen almost £2,000 worth of perfume from Boots in Hereford on February 21.

His haul was worth a total of £1,954, the magistrates were told.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Brain, of Oracle Drive in Waterlooville, Hampshire, was released on unconditional bail.
He will appear before magistrates in Portsmouth next for sentencing on July 31.
