A SEX offender has been handed a community order after three sex assaults in Hereford.

The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 25-year-old had sexually touched a woman aged 16 or over when she did not consent and when he did not reasonably believe she was consenting in Hereford on three occasions on October 8.
Ellis had been found guilty of the charges at trial in June, when the case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service.
Ellis, of Withypool, Hereford, was handed a 30-month community order and must complete an accredited sexual offending behaviour programme.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £100, a £100 fine, prosecution costs of £400, and a £114 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
