A CAR had front-end damage after being involved in a crash on a busy Hereford road this morning (Monday.)
Police, ambulance and the fire service were all called to the two-vehicle collision in Whitecross Road, near Tesco Express.
A red car was seen on the side of the road near the store with damage to the front of the vehicle.
A fire engine was parked near Holmer Street, but left the scene shortly before 9am. A police car, meanwhile, was positioned in Baggallay Street, with officers talking to the affected parties.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 08.31am to an RTC in Whitecross Road, Hereford.
"The incident involved two vehicles, both on all four wheels, which were made safe by fire service personnel.
"There were no persons trapped and no casualties although the ambulance service did attend. The incident was marked as pending closure at 08.58am."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called to reports of a two-car RTC on Whitecross Road at 8.11am, one ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered two patients, the drivers of both cars. However, it soon became apparent neither were injured and we were stood down."
Temporary lights are due to be installed in Whitecross Road today (Monday) due to gas works.
The first stage of the month-long project is set to start in Baggalley Street, with Cadent then carrying on the work in White Horse Street.
However, as of 9am, the work haden't started.
