A VAN crashed into a tree after leaving the A49 near Hereford this afternoon (Monday).
Emergency services were called to Callow at around 1.15pm.
A man in his 50s was trapped and released from the vehicle by firefighters who used Holmatro cutting equipment before being handed over to ambulance personnel, who attended along with police.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the man was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Hereford County Hospital.
The crash resulted in the road being partially blocked. However, it has now fully reopened.
