AS one of the first women teachers at Hereford Cathedral School and the wife of a former Fownhope vicar, I am saddened by my visit to Hereford last week.
Once clothed in rural sanctity, with local specialist shops, cherished cathedral and choir school, the city is now abused, littered and congested.

Come on, guys, forget the past and join the bishop on his motorbike polluting the road to Wales.
