A THIEF stole a £500 bicycle and almost £150 worth of clothing in Hereford, a court has heard.
Ashley White entered guilty pleas to one count of theft from a shop and one count of theft of a pedal cycle when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in July.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 32-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Marilena Di Vitantonio, had stolen clothing items worth a total of £149.94 from Hereford's Old Market TK Maxx shop on April 18.

He had also stolen a pedal cycle worth £500 in Hereford on April 19, magistrates were told.
Magistrates decided to defer sentencing, ordering White, who is of no fixed address, to engage with housing authorities, Turning Point and associated agencies, and the benefits agency in the meantime.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on October 25.
