A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an altercation happened in Hereford city centre last night (Friday).
Police were called to a report of a man assaulting another man at around 9.50pm after being alterted to the incident by Herefordshire Council's CCTV cameras.
The suspect, a man in his 20s, left the area in a car and was later located and arrested by officers on suspicion of assault.

The injured man, also in his 20s, was not seriously injured as a result of the assault.
A police cordon has been put in place in part of West Street, which remains this morning (Saturday).
A police car and two scene guards are outside The Stables pub and Ascaris cafe. Both premises remain open, however you can't access them via the respective front doors.
There is no access to East Street, Broad Street or King Street via West Street, with vehicles having to turn right into Aubrey Street.
