All the Herefordshire road closures planned for August

Among the works are a number of planned surface dressing works, which will see several roads close this month.

Here are all the Herefordshire road closures planned for August:

Resurfacing works 

Church Street, Kington

Closed from the evening of July 31 until the morning of August 8, 6pm to 2am, for block pavement works. Road open as normal on Saturday and Sunday nights.

A4110 from Brampton Bryan turn to Adforton

Closed August 1 for one day, between 9am and 3pm for surface dressing works. Date subject to change.

B4224 Hampton Bishop Road 

Closed August 1 for one day, between 9am and 3pm for surface dressing works. Date subject to change.

B4348 from A49 towards Llanwarne Road

Closed August 1 for one day, between 9am and 3pm for surface dressing works. Date subject to change.

B4234 from Kerne Bridge towards Gloucestershire boundary

Closed from August 9 until the morning of August 12, 6pm to 6am, for resurfacing works.

Road closed from August 7 to (and including) August 18, 24 hours a day, for rock armour installation.

C1011 Kinsham Bridge

Closed from August 21 to (and including) Wednesday 29th August 29, 24 hours a day, for stone cladding works

Miscellaneous and emergency closures

Widemarsh Street, Hereford

Road closed from March 13, 24 hours a day, to raise road surface to match height of current kerbs.

C1213 Dulas (Old Trout Inn)

Closed from July 31 to (and including) August 4, 24 hours a day, for ground investigation works.

Jubilee Drive, Colwall

Road closed from August 8 to (and including) August 18, 8.30am to 3.30pm, for fencing repairs. Temporary traffic signals will be in place outside of these hours.

C1092 Canon Pyon

Closed from August 14 to (and including) August 18, 24 hours a day, for embankment repairs..

C1195 Tyberton

Closure due to undermined carriageway.

Huntington Lane, Hereford

Emergency closure implemented for safety reasons. Repair works anticipated to commence week commencing August 7.
