TOBACCO and e-cigarettes were stolen in an overnight burglary at a Herefordshire newsagent.
Staff arrived at Etnam News in Leominster’s Etnam Street yesterday morning (August 7) to find a front window had been smashed and the shop broken into, with various items stolen.
A shop spokesperson said staff and the shop’s owners had been left distressed and in “great shock” after arriving to find the aftermath of the break-in, which has “hit hard at a time when things are so very tight”.

The shop’s team has appealed to locals to report any offers of cheap tobacco being sold in the area.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said officers were called to the shop on August 7 after receiving a report that it had been broken into overnight.
“A number of items were stolen including e-cigarettes and tobacco. An investigation is ongoing,” the spokesperson said.
Any information regarding the burglary can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
