A BUSY road on the edge of Hereford is to remain closed for longer today (Wednesday) due to delays on site.
Eign Road has been shut daily this week from 9.30am to 3.30pm for resurfacing work, with it set to be complted by Friday (August 11).
However, Herefordshire Council's roads team has said that a delay means that it will be closed until 5pm today.
🚧 UPDATE | Due to delays on site, we anticipate that Eign Road, #Hereford will remain closed until 5pm this evening to allow enough time for the road surface to cool sufficiently so it is safe for vehicles to drive on.
