A HEREFORDSHIRE florist is gearing up to celebrate a milestone anniversary this month.
Bluebells Florist of Leominster will be celebrating its 30th birthday on August 25, with anniversary festivities set to take place throughout the town.
Stems will be hidden in the area, giving keen-eyed locals the opportunity to take home a free gift. Free branded keychains and chocolate-filled favour boxes will also be available, alongside a raffle, with a beautiful bouquet as the prize.
In line with tradition, a new, exciting shop-front display will be constructed to mark the event. Bluebells is well known for its displays, which regularly change to celebrate holidays such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day as well as recognising events like the Kings coronation earlier this year.
Excitement has already begun to stir online, with many words of congratulations and expressions of anticipation, particularly for the shopfront display, being posted on social media.

Leominster’s status as a small, rural town has been key to the shop’s success and longevity over the years, allowing the florist to build up a regular roster of customers who trust them to consistently deliver a quality service with a personal touch.
Elizabeth Rowlands, who has held the position of manager for the last three decades, has had to steer the business through recessions, a pandemic and the current cost of living crisis but said “good quality and good service prevails”.
Even whilst raising two children, Mrs Rowlands has worked to cater for the needs of locals in times of celebration and in times of mourning, with her small team of florists providing wreaths and floral displays for all occasions.
