TWO gins made by a Herefordshire company have taken home acclaimed Great Taste Awards.
Gun Dog Gin's artisan damson and raspberry gin liqueurs were awarded two stars each by the Great Taste judges.
Julie Green, co-owner of Gun Dog Gin, said: "We are honoured and so excited again to receive two stars for two fantastic products! We know our gin liqueurs are the best because they contain no artificial flavours or colours. However, receiving these coveted stamps of approval from Great Taste means that our Gun Dog Gin liqueurs have been added to the long list of prestigious Herefordshire food and drink products available from the county."
As Gun Dog Gin avoids artificial fruit syrups and other derivatives, it sources real fruit from local growers in Herefordshire.

Great Taste is the largest and most respected food and drink accreditation awards scheme, and is internationally recognised among consumers and major food buyers alike. The awards were established in 1994 by the Guild of Fine Food. Each year, they celebrate the best artisan and speciality food producers in the world.
The two-star winners are defined by Great Taste as "outstanding" and "above and beyond delicious", with only 10 per cent of entrants receiving this accolade.
The liqueurs are available directly from Gun Dog Gin and from select farm shops & delis across the UK.
