HEREFORD shopping centre Maylord Orchards is set to host the city’s first outdoor vegan market.
In partnership with Hereford Vegan Events, this event will be based in Maylord Orchards and High Town on Sunday September 17 between 10am and 3pm.
It will be free to enter, with vendors selling vegan food, drinks and artisan crafts, plus local community groups and charities.

Maylord Orchards said that the event will feature independent Hereford bar the Jam Factory, although details have not yet been given about the venue’s involvement.
The Jam Factory is known for its live music events and DJ nights, as well as tasty drinks.
It recently set up a pop-up street food stall at the Butter Market called Mariachis, which serves modern Mexican-inspired vegan food from tacos to churros.
The future of Maylord Orchards itself remains uncertain with Herefordshire Council pausing plans for it to house a new city library and Wilko, one of its largest shops, at risk of closure.
