A DRUG-driver caught out in Hereford's Broad Street while over the limit has been banned from the roads.
Trevor Kavanagh entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the drug limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in August.
The court heard from prosecutor Paul John that the 48-year-old had been caught out in Hereford's Broad Street after getting behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra while over the drug-driving limit on February 5.

An evidential blood test revealed that he had 281 microgrammes of class A controlled drug cocaine product benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.
Kavanagh, of Symonds Street, Hereford, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £27 for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and an £11 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
