ILLEGAL drugs have been found hiding in plain sight by police in Hereford.
Officers in Hereford have recovered cannabis plants from the spot they appear from pictures to have been growing in beside Hereford's Great Western Way.
The footpath, which crosses the river Wye to the south of the city, is heavily used on a daily basis.

A spokesperson for South Wye Safer Neighbourhood Team said officers had recovered the plants on August 18.
The plants, the spokesperson said, would have had an estimated value of £200 per plant if they had reached full maturity.
Cannabis is a class B controlled drug in the UK, with the cultivation or possession of the plant punishable by law.
