TWO independent restaurants will come to Hereford soon, taking residence in the city's West Street.
One of these, at 17A West Street, will be Mr Gyro, expanding its Greek food menu from its already-popular takeaway van to a sit-down restaurant. Mr Gyro is well known for attending local events, serving up Greek cuisine around Herefordshire.
The current Mr Gyro menu includes gyros, pittas, salads, and more.
The restaurant will welcome customers to dine in or take their food away to enjoy at home.
It is set to open in September, with some promotions and giveaways planned.
Right next door, at 18 West Street, Fries Before Guys is set to serve loaded fries and various side dishes.
An opening date has not yet been announced, but signage is already up and the restaurant has been documenting the decorating work on its Instagram page.

The restaurant posted on Instagram: "We've been working hard behind the scenes getting Fries Before Guys ready to open, but we have encountered a few issues that have caused some delays in our timeline.
"We can't wait to be serving up some awesome fries as soon as we can. Don't forget about us!"
Fries Before Guys' sister company, the Grub Shed, has been serving up loaded fries for four years all around the UK, but the restaurant in Hereford will allow customers to relax at the venue on West Street or, as with Mr Gyro, order takeaways.
