A HEREFORDSHIRE pub is aiming to reopen ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.

The Full Pitcher, in Ledbury, has been closed while Stonegate, the pub company that owns it, was looking for a new tenant and manager.

It was initially thought that the pub, which is situated in a prominent location off the Leadon Way and Ross Road roundabout, would be opening on July 31 after Shaun Bartley announced on the Voice of Ledbury Facebook page that he was taking it on, along with his partner, Sophie Knight.

However, the Full Pitcher has remained close ever since, with locals wondering when it would reopen. Stonegate has now confirmed that a new tenant has taken on the premises, and it planning on opening it this Friday (August 25) with new management in place.
