THE funeral of a popular Herefordshire footballer is to take place next week.
Mr Taylor, aged 38, was well known in the county due to playing for a number of clubs, such as Fownhope, Ewyas Harold and Hereford Pegasus.
He was a coach at the latter, with his under-13s side going the season unbeaten last year.
Mr Taylor, who was living in Grosmont at the time of his death, was reported as missing on July 24. Two days later, Gwent Police confirmed that his body had been found.

He was a devoted father to Theo, beloved son of Jill and Tom, stepson of Pete, brother to Cassie and stepbrothers to Tommy and Paul.
Mr Taylor's funeral servive next Wednesday (August 30) will be private for immediate family only.
However, anyone wishing to pay their respects are asked to gather outside the Temple Bar Inn in Ewyas Harold at 12.15pm when the hearse passes through the village.
