VANDALS sprayed graffiti on a van used by a Hereford church to run a food sharing service.
The St Martin's Food Share team discovered the damage on Monday August 28, just days after they had been serving free tea and coffee to people at the city's River Carnival.
Community pastor David Bland said: "It's sad to see that someone has done this. Having spoken to the team, we feel disgusted and disrespected. We work to build a community that helps others and would never expect this to happen."

Just as the church began recruiting volunteers to help with a community clean-up of the van and remove the graffiti, they discovered that a user of the food share service had already cleaned the vehicle for them.
The food share is run by St Martin's Church, based on Ross Road in Hereford, and offers leftover food donated by supermarkets to the community in a bid to reduce wastage.
The incident was reported to West Mercia Police, who have not provided an update at this time.
