A DRINK-DRIVER has been sentenced after he was nearly twice over the limit on a Herefordshire A-road.
Robert Greene, of Kings Meadow, Wigmore, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a motor vehicle when above the legal drink drive limit when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court on Wednesday (August 30).
Mark Hambling, prosecuting at the court, said Greene was driving a Mercedes on the A4110 in Aymestry on July 11.

An evidential sample test showed that he had 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
The 56-year-old, who was represented by Marilena Di Vitantonio, was disqualifed from driving for six months and fined £80.
He was also told to pay court costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £32 respectively.
