A BMW driver was nearly three times the drug-drive limit when he was behind the wheel, a court has heard.
Carter Taylor, of Whitney Village Road, Whitney-on-Wye, was driving a black BMW 1 Series in Bargates, Leominster on February 1.
The 25-year-old, who was represented by Marilena Di Vitantonio, had seven microgrammes of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol his blood. The legal drive limit of the drug, which is the main cannabinoid of cannabis, is 2mg.
Taylor, who pleaded guilty to the offence, was disqualified from driving for three years by magistrates, who also fined him £120.
He will also have to court costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £48 respectively.
