A HEREFORDSHIRE coffee shop is celebrating its first anniversary.
RFM Coffee Roasters, based at 2 Lion Yard in Leominster, sells both from its physical locations and online, sourcing its coffee beans from all over the world.
Prior to that, the small business had been roasting specialty coffee for over five years out of a nano roastery in Wales before setting up its new shop.
The beans are roasted in small batches to ensure freshness, with RFM Coffee Roasters also offering a variety of coffee beans for wholesale customers. The firm also offers a variety of coffee brewing equipment and accessories.

A spokesperson for the shop said: “Firstly, do you know that coffee beans as you know them come from a coffee cherry and is therefore the seed of a fruit?
“At RFM, we only use the highest-grade Arabica beans, never Robusta which is favoured by many larger roasters as it is cheaper to buy in. Supermarket coffee can be roasted months before it even hits the shelves and more often than not has a yearlong date stamp on top of that initial roast date. It can be two years old by the time you purchase it.
“To be considered speciality coffee, beans must be grown in ideal conditions, harvested at the peak of ripeness, and processed with care.
"They are then roasted to bring out their unique flavours and aromas. These coffee beans are richer and more complex in flavour than regular coffee and are free of defects.
"If you are looking for a truly amazing cup of coffee, look for speciality coffee. You won't be disappointed."
