A PLANT and Craft Fair will soon take place in a Herefordshire town to fundraise for planters, which are maintained by volunteers.
Next weekend's event in Corn Square, Leominster, will mark the beginning of the autumn season and encourage donations for maintenance of the planters around the town centre.
Leominster in Bloom is a community group and registered charity relying on the support of residents and local businesses.
They have been responsible for maintaining the flowers in the town each year since 2003.
Leominster in Bloom have previously won the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service and have been awarded gold several times in the Heart of England in Bloom competition.

Cynthia Partridge, who has been planning the fair, said: "Leominster in Bloom are holding our autumn fair on September 23 in Corn Square from 9am to 3pm.
"We have a variety of craft and plant stalls booked for the day.
"We also hold a fair in May every year. The proceeds go towards the planting around town."
