The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 18-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Chris Read, had stolen a pair of grey Nike jogging bottoms worth £65 from JD Sports in Hereford's Commercial Street on March 2.
Biddle, of Foster Crescent, Leominster, was ordered to pay compensation of £65 to JD Sports, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when coming to their decision.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135.
