A DRINK-driver caught out while more than three times the limit in Herefordshire has been banned from the roads.
Andrew Rogers entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in September.
The court heard from prosecutor Thomas Wickstead that the 54-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor George Cousins, had been caught out approaching the A4103 from Sutton St Nicholas after getting behind the wheel of a white Citroen while over the drink-driving limit on July 19.

An evidential breath test revealed that he had 116 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
Rogers, of Hunderton Avenue, Hereford, was handed a 12-month community order and fined £120 for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also disqualified from driving for 28 months and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £114 victim surcharge.
