I HAVE just read the distressing letter from Carol Jones regarding the state of Herefordshire’s roads (Letters, September 14).
I wholeheartedly agree with her comments about their diabolical state.

I drove from Ross-on-Wye to the hospice to work on the B4224 via Fownhope for a number of years and used to play dodgems with the potholes!
I do hope that her sister had a peaceful last few days at St Michael’s and that she is having support from their services.
