WORK is underway at a new café and bar that will be opening in Hereford next week.
Called Pre, the venue will replace the Life & Soul Kitchen in the city's Maylord Orchards shopping centre.
It is being run by Wobbly Taphouse, which have a brewery at Beech Business Park, just outside the city.

"We're recognised on the outskirts of the city but a lot of people have asked us to open in town," said manager Paul McClurey.
"All of our food and drink will be locally sources and we will have pizzas.
"We want to give customers a wider variety of ales and believe the prices will be competitive."
The news means that one of the empty units at Maylords will be filled. It has regularly been a café, first BB's Coffee and Muffins (renamed Delight, Coffee and Muffins) and then the Life & Soul Kitchen.
It comes after Wilko - the largest premises at Maylords - closed its doors yesterday (September 21) after the firm went into administration.
