THOUSANDS of properties in the south Wye area of Hereford were briefly without power this morning (September 25).
The incident was first reported to National Grid at 8.42am, with Tesco in Belmont one of the affected premises.
A total of 2,666 properties were without power in the HR2 postcode area; however, by 8.54am all had been restored.
National Grid said there was a fault in its high voltage network in the area.
