A POPULAR Channel 5 show will be filming in Herefordshire this week, according to a production company.

Dogs Behaving Very Badly will be filming in the town of Ross-on-Wye, the production company Avalon said via a Facebook post.

In a post that now appears to have been deleted, the company, Avalon, said that it was looking for dog owners with non-reactive dogs who would like to appear on the show.

Presenter and dog trainer Graeme Hall, known as “the Dog Father”, will be training a naughty dog in the town on Thursday for an upcoming episode of the TV show. The next series is set to premiere this year.

In the show, Hall travels the country helping some of the UK’s most desperate owners take back control of their mischievous dogs. His no-nonsense attitude, easy-to-follow training methods and long-lasting fixes have secured him a reputation as a master dog trainer.

Kit Morey, Channel 5’s factual commissioning editor, said: “The Dog Father is returning to the channel for another series to do what he does best, dealing with any dog, any age and any problem, no situation is too ‘ruff’ for Graeme Hall.”

Channel 5 has commissioned series five and six of Dogs Behaving Very Badly, after series four became the highest-rated series of the show to date at the start of 2022, with a reach of 10.2 million viewers across the run.

The show has also been a hit in Australia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Belgium, Canada and more.
