Meet the top three car mechanics in Herefordshire - chosen by you

We asked Hereford Times readers to recommend mechanics and were bowled over as more than 150 people came forward to share where they take their vehicles for repairs, maintenance, Ministry of Transport (MOT) tests and other services.

In no particular order, these are three of the most common recommendations shared by our readers.

This garage at Porthouse Business Centre in Bromyard is owned by Steve Cross and Sam Callow.

Steve Cross said: "We're pleased to be chosen as one of the favourites. We all work hard to make this possible. Thanks to all of our customers."

Mr Cross and Mr Callow started the business in June 2014, having worked together at a previous business. The company began with just the two owners and one employee, but now has several staff.

The team at C7 carry out MOTs on various types of vehicle, while offering other services like air conditioning repairs and re-gassing, brake and clutch maintenance and repairs, full car and motorbike servicing, welding and restoration, and installing tow bars.

Based on Plough Lane in Hereford, Mike Watkins' garage specialises in MOTs and services, making it a great option for maintenance jobs and diagnostics. They also take on welding and other repairs.

All of the mechanics at Mike Watkins were highly recommended by Hereford Times readers.

The family-run garage has over 25 years of experience carrying out MOTs.

TS Motors said they appreciated being chosen by Hereford Times readers as a favourite local garage.
