A TEENAGER caught out with an overly noisy exhaust has been ordered to pay hundreds by a court.
Bradley Howard was proven guilty of one count of using a motor vehicle on a road with a silencer or exhaust system altered to increase the noise made by magistrates in Worcester in September.

The court heard from the prosecutor that the 18-year-old had been caught driving a Honda Civic which had been fitted with an exhaust system that had been altered to as to increase the noise made by the escape of exhaust gases, contrary to the Road Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Howard, of Howard Court, Hereford, was fined £220 for the offence.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and an £88 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
