THE A438 Ledbury Road in Hereford is to be closed tonight (September 30).
Network Rail will start work by the railway bridge between Central Avenue and Foley Street from 10pm with it set to be completed by 6.30am tomorrow (Sunday) morning. Another night closure will then take place next Saturday (October 7).
A 3.6km diversion will be put in place. Drivers are asked to continue on Ledbury Road before getting to Folly Lane then turn lefty towards Aylestone Hill.
From there, continue on Commercial Road, turn left towards Bath Street and St Owen Street, then a slight left which takes you back on Ledbury Road.
