A BREWERY which runs a pub near Hereford that has been closed for a number of months is 'reviewing its options'.

The Grafton Inn, which changed its name to the Royal Falcon, sits in a prominent position off the A49 Ross Road and is next to a Travelodge hotel.

Benefitting from an outside area, which includes a duck pond and children's play area, the pub provided an extensive and varied menu with specials offered.

However, despite having a refurbishment last year following its name change, the pub has remained closed. A board stating its opening times shows that it only operated from Wednesday to Sunday, which included two half-days.

A sign is also in the window that states the pub is currently secured by Vacant Property Specialists.

A spokesperson for SA Brain & Company Ltd (SAB), the brewer and hospitality company that runs the pub, said: "At the moment SAB are reviewing optionality at this outlet."
