I AM writing to urge everyone to object to the planning application P222728/N for a huge, industrial anaerobic digester in rural Herefordshire.
This application was first lodged a year ago. The Herefordshire Council planning department raised a number of questions and concerns.
The applicant has recently submitted his response, which is on the planning department webpage. However, careful scrutiny of these documents clearly shows that there remain more questions than answers.
What are your thoughts?
You can send a letter to the editor to have your say by clicking here.
Letters should not exceed 250 words and local issues take precedence.
Particularly in the areas of increased traffic, air pollution (including enhanced ammonia levels), nutrient control (phosphate and nitrate) and general control, management and governance.
I would therefore call on everyone to raise an objection and, in particular, the local ward councillor Jonathan Lester to show the appropriate leadership having heard many significant concerns at Stretton Grandison Parish Council and Yarkhill public meetings.
