Scaffolding at Imperial Inn pub, Widemarsh Street, Hereford

Scaffolding surrounds the Imperial Inn; however, the Widemarsh Street venue remains open.

A spokesperson for Stonegate Group, the company that operates the pub, said that the work is taking place on the roof.

“Stonegate Group is always focused on conserving the high quality of our venues," she said.

"There are currently building works taking place on the roof of the Imperial Pub in Hereford in order to maintain the high standards of the venue, but this does not impact the venue’s service.

"The pub is currently trading as normal.”
