A Herefordshire town centre is to get a late-opening convenience store.
Alliance Property Holdings of Bradford has applied for a licence to remain open and to sell alcohol between 6am and 11pm daily at the Martin’s shop in South Street, Leominster.
The application describes the premises as a Morrisons Daily, though it is still badged as Martin’s. Its current opening hours are listed as 8am till 5:30pm, and till 1pm on Sundays.

Morrisons bought the McColl’s group of convenience stores, including Martin’s stores, out of administration in May last year.
It announced shortly after it that would convert the “substantial majority” of the stores which it had not already closed into Morrisons Dailys within two to three years – as has already happened at the former McColl’s shop in Bromyard.

It is understood that the post office counter within Martin’s will not be affected.
There is already a large Morrisons supermarket on the western edge of Leominster, open between 6am and 10pm, and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
