MORE Herefordshire speeders have been fined by magistrates after they were caught breaking the limit.
Luke Statters entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Bath.
The court heard that the 23-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a car in a 40 miles per hour zone on the A4 in Portway, Bristol, on February 15.
Statters, of Hinton Road, Hereford, was fined £146 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £58 victim surcharge.

Abbi Rickson entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard that the 26-year-old Ford Fiesta driver had been caught speeding in a 30 miles per hour zone in Hereford's Bodenham Road on April 24.
Rickson, of Mordiford, Herefordshire, was fined £250 and received six penalty points. She must also pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £100 victim surcharge.
Greg Michael Phillips entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard that the 42-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia in a 30 miles per hour zone on Hartford Road in Bromsgrove on April 25.
Phillips, of Ranelagh Street, Hereford, was fined £480 and received six penalty points. He was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £192 victim surcharge.
