A TOWN in Herefordshire has been named one of England’s best places to live.
Ledbury has been featured on the Muddy Stilettos 2024 list of the 250 best places to live in the country and is the only location in the county to make the cut.

The town was praised for its culture, eateries, shops and local attractions, with the mix of modern and traditional country lifestyles being a firm part of Ledbury’s appeal.
Ledbury’s listing should be no surprise as it is home to a variety of top-quality restaurants such as the Oak Inn, the Malthouse Café and Sitara. The town is also forging its own unique cultural identity with the annual poetry festival bringing in well-known celebrities such as Simon Armitage.
This is not the first time Ledbury has appeared on such a list, with the town being crowned one of the best places to live in the Midlands by the Sunday Times back in 2019 and 2020.
