UNINSURED Herefordshire drivers caught out on the roads without insurance have been fined by magistrates.
Faruk Tuncel was proven guilty of one count of driving without insurance.
The court heard that the 28-year-old had been caught out on the A49 Greyfriars Bridge in Hereford after getting behind the wheel of a Seat without a valid insurance policy in force on April 7.
Tuncel, of Meadow Park, Hereford, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £264 victim surcharge.

Laura Ventham was proven guilty of one count of driving without insurance.
The court heard that the 22-year-old had driven an Audi A1 on the A49 Holmer Road in Hereford without a valid insurance policy in place on April 1.
Ventham, of Watling Close, Canon Pyon, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. She must also pay prosecution costs of £90 and £264.
Rebecca Morris was proven guilty of one count of using a handheld mobile phone while driving a motor vehicle and driving without insurance.
The court heard that the 45-year-old had been caught using a mobile phone while driving a Peugeot 206 without insurance on the A49 at the Starting Gate in Hereford on March 31.
Morris, of Bargates, Leominster, was fined £220 and received six penalty points. She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and an £88 victim surcharge.
