THE fire service was called to Hereford County Hospital this morning (October 27).
Three crews were called to a building fire in Stonebow Road at just after 9.15am.
A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A smell of burning was located in a water boiler in a ground floor kitchen area and this was isolated by an on-site maintenance team before the incident was handed over to the estates team.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 09.48am."
