ORGANISERS of a Herefordshire bonfire night event are offering one lucky child the chance to start this year's firework display.
One child will get to "push the button" to start the popular Ross-on-Wye display, which is run annually by the Lions at the town's rowing club.
This year's event will take place on November 4, with hopefuls for pushing the button to be on the field by 7.20pm. The winner will be chosen on the night.
This is the first year that the Lions have done this, having made the announcement on social media last week. The Lions have said people should keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates.

People attending the event are urged to wear suitable clothing and bring a torch. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Other firework displays will take place across the county this weekend, including in Hereford, Kington, Weobley, Bromesberrow, and Pencombe.
