A DRINK-driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught out in Hereford while over the limit.
Laurentiu Petrut entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in October.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 50-year-old had been caught out in Hereford's Penn Grove Road after getting behind the wheel of a grey Ford Focus while over the alcohol limit on September 12.

An evidential breath test revealed that he had 107 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
Petrut, of Bryngwyn Close, Hereford, was handed a 12-month community order with 80 hours of unpaid work and disqualified from driving for 24 months, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £114 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
