The project, which is part of the #StrongerHereford programme, will see a fleet of electric buses taking locals across the city without costing them a penny.
A specific timetable has not yet been released but it’s understood that the route will flow from Hereford Railway Station to Asda, stopping at key destinations such as the Maylord's, Hereford Cathedral, and the Town Hall.
A Hereford City Council spokesperson said: “Every time you choose our electric buses, you're choosing to be a superhero for our planet. Lower emissions mean a healthier Earth, and you get to be the eco-warrior.
“Get ready to plug into the future, Hereford. Grab your ticket, hop on board, and let’s zip around town in style.
"It's not just a bus ride; it's a journey into a brighter, cleaner, and more electrifying Hereford.”
