A MAN caused damage to his ex-girlfriend's home in Hereford in a "spontaneous and heat of the moment" incident.
Marcin Sienkiowicz damaged his ex-girlfriend's wardrobe, removing a door and smashing a glass pane, and causing damage to plaster in the room.
On October 25, the 29-year-old appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court charged with criminal damage. Sienkiowicz, of Adonis Way in Hereford, pleaded guilty.

Mark Hambling, prosecuting, said the incident happened on March 31 this year and that Sienkiowicz had caused £100 worth of damage to the plaster and £50 worth of damage to the wardrobe door.
Ed Middleton, defending, said that Sienkiowicz had been drinking at the time of the incident, and that he had struggled with problems with alcohol. He had since been to a residential rehabilitation facility in Poland, which his family had paid for.
Sienkiowicz was fined £69, and ordered to pay £150 in compensation, £135 in costs and a £28 victim surcharge.
After being sentenced, he told the magistrates that his mother would help him to pay the fine.
